Tabs I Can't Close 42: Books, Femininity, Being Old

Friday, January 22, 2016

I'm reading a lot of Anne Morrow Lindbergh, starting with her diary from the war years, War Within and Without*, in which she includes a breathtaking love letter from Charles.

I clicked for more info and confirmed I am old.

Be a better person. (#2, #9, #10.) What seemingly impossible task (#10) are you undertaking this year?

You probably already know about Seamwork, but I just saw it for the first time last night. It's beautiful.

My sister and a friend and I have been sharing favorite Instagram accounts (I'd love to know your favorites too!), and when this one came across the wire I couldn't stop scrolling for well-tailored inspiration. I'd like to add a few more feminine pieces to my jeans-gray-sweater-and-Bean-boots wardrobe this year.

And also, a winter PSA (for the also-old?): this vile-smelling heel balm* actually works.
