Link lists are as old as the Internet, and I love them because they introduce me to worlds I wouldn't find on my own. Sometimes I find myself going to the same ten places on the Internet every day, and I itch for something new.

Here are four women who always seem to find fresh-to-me things happening around the web (and the world):

Megan Reardon posts lists of everything from tech to travel to cooking to food that looks like other things. Her blog, Not Martha, is one of the first blogs I started reading, back before you were born.

Jillian Lukiwski makes the most gorgeous jewelry. I can't even explain how her work moves me. She seems to move at a speed set a little higher than most and reading her blog makes me want to be all sorts of things, out west. On her blog, Life and Times of the Noisy Plume, she introduces me to people and things and places that bring a kind of joy-light.

Joanna Goddard writes one of my favorite blogs, A Cup of Jo. Fridays don't feel complete without her Friday around the web lists.

Heidi Swanson posts seasonal link lists on her blog 101 Cookbooks. I visit her blog about once a season, primarily for these lists, which are full of books, interviews, photos, and people who are doing fantastic things.
